Winners at War Finale LF | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:07:09

Based on the feedback, this season was a hit! Just how great it was and where it sits overall is still up for debate, but most everyone was happy with the winner, and even the final three. How refreshing to have a final three and no goats. It was a phenomenal cast and they really delivered. Survivor Fans Podcast will be on hiatus until Survivor returns.

Winners at War Finale Recap | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:12:39

We entered the finale with a strong favorite to win that seemed almost assured. Our only hope for some excitement and drama would hinge on the returnee from EoE. Thankfully, a worthy challenger re-entered the game and we were in for a wild ride to the end. We enjoyed the challenges, and the Final Tribal was exciting and fun with good performances from each of the final three. We were really happy with our our second, two time winner!

Based on the feedback, the super fans have one clear winner in mind for the finale. It may not be an easy road to victory though. The wildcard ends up being the returnee from Edge of Extinction. That person stands to turn the game on its head, and many think we might even see a repeat of the previous Extinction upset victory. We are excited to see how it all plays out and will continue to run scenarios until the final votes are cast at the finale on Wednesday.

We are clearly getting to see a completely different perspective on the game than the remaining castaways. Otherwise, we would have expected to see a much different outcome. A dominant story has emerged for one castaway and the only question that remains is how big of an impact will the final EoE returnee have on the game. It's all about the finale now. We're excited to see how it all ends.

Never has a food temptation been worth so much and have the results disappointed so many. With such a celebrated cast, every success and mistake gets magnified because our expectations are already so high. We have lots of thoughts on who to select for the next two vote offs. Take your pick! We are super excited for the upcoming double episode on Wednesday.

The list of accomplishments keeps getting longer and longer. Surely it's time for the other winners to band together and even the playing field because this has become a runaway game for one castaway. We really need the editors to up their game and make sure the Fire Token counts are clear for everyone if this new economy is going to work for the viewers too. We're nearing the end but we have a two hour, penultimate episode to look forward to next week.

Winners at War Week 11 LF | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:11:58

Never before has one castaway been featured to this extent in a single episode. From the feedback, the majority of us really, thoroughly enjoyed it too. It was the great return to strategic gameplay that so many of us were hungry for from this stellar cast. We are anticipating another great episode on Wednesday.

Oh man, that was some serious resume building tonight! It is not easy to win Individual Immunity, or find a Hidden Immunity Idol without others knowing, or pull off one of the biggest blindsides of the season. But, to do all three of those plus counter act a likely game changing dis-advantage from EoE was simply amazing. That felt like an unprecedented amount of success especially when you gauge it relative to this group of castaways.

Winners at War Week 10 LF | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:34:56

Some thought the full family visit made this the best episode of the season, most enjoyed it, and some really, really wanted more gameplay action and less forced family time. We were unanimous on our dislike of the whisper-fests at Tribal Council and really want better insight into the strategic maneuvering instead of the chaotic confusion that has become the norm. We are excited for the next episode and can't wait till Wednesday!

Winners at War Week 10 Recap | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:15

Season 40, Winners at War, is special and that demands special circumstances when it comes to the Loved Ones Visit. We got the most extensive family visit in the history of the game this week. Everybody was a winner on day 24. The peace treaty was over on day 25 though, and there are now clear battle lines long with a controlling majority alliance. Which side did your favorites castaways land on?

Winners at War Week 9 LF | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:28:16

We were all delighted that the energy and pace was back in the episode this week after that merge lull. There was lots to laugh about regarding the latest boot, but we all seem to agree that his "Fail Mary" play, as Josh called it, at Tribal Council was respected even if the rest of his game was often cringey. Many are predicting a big take down for this week. We can't wait to watch it all go down on Wednesday.

Winners at War Week 9 Recap | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 49:46

No good deed goes unpunished in Survivor. It may not be possible to commit a selfless act and not have it viewed by someone as gamesmanship. It was great to have some extra energy back this week. This episode appeared to give a good perspective on how confusing it can be to make a decision on the vote and stick with it when a group this skilled is playing. Who did you think was calling the shots this time?

Winners at War Week 8 LF | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:27:05

This just in, Sophie has "nervous Chihuahua face". Based on the responses this week, many were happy with who returned from EoE and even more were shocked when they were not immediately voted out again. The Lions vs. Hyenas strategy appears to be working this time. For the most part, we enjoyed the merge but were left wanting more, more, More!

Winners at War Week 8 Recap | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 47:24

We finally reached the Merge, and we have the results of the first Return From The Edge challenge for this season. We sure wish this had been a two hour episode though, so we could have gained more insight into how the merged tribe came together and where the divisions and alliances were forming. Who's calling the shots now? Who benefits the most from this merge?

Winners at War Week 7 LF | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:48:14

This week's feedback is all about the big questions: was that a quit, did it tarnish their legacy, what's up with Michele and Wendell, old school vs. new school, who's coming back from EoE next week? It's a packed episode with content, speculation and predictions to help you span the gap till we get the next dose of our favorite show on Wednesday.
