On arguably the wildest day in ISPS Handa Vic Open history, Min Woo Lee put in the performance of his young career with a four-under 68 to move three shots clear of the field. It was a similar story on the women's side with Ayean Cho and Madelene Sagstrom set to duke it out in Sunday's final round. Despite trailing 10-8 heading into final-day singles matches, the US ruthlessly spoiled the International team's dreams of lifting the Presidents Cup for the first time in more than two decades. It started with Tiger Woods and ended with Matt Kuchar as the US set a single-session record with eight points to notch a 16-14 victory over Ernie Els' gallant squad. Day 3 at the Presidents Cup saw some of the most enthralling golf ever seen at Royal Melbourne. With Ernie's men taking a 9-5 advantage into the afternoon's foursomes, the Americans took command and were likely to tie the Presidents Cup at 9-9 heading into Sunday but remarkably, the Internationals clawed their way back from the brink in a few matches to secure two half points. It'll be 10-8 to the International team when the singles matches start Sunday! We break down an incredible Saturday. Day 2 at the Presidents Cup has set the scene for what will be a compelling weekend at Royal Melbourne. With the Internationals taking commanding leads in the majority of the foursomes early on, the US Team battled back to tie the day's five matches 2.5 each. The Internationals lead for the first time after two sessions since 2005. Ernie's men will take a 6.5 to 3.5 into Saturday's double sessions as the anticipation builds for what could be one of the biggest upsets on golf's world stage. It's day one from Royal Melbourne and what a day it was for the International team as they take a surprising 4-1 lead in the Presidents Cup. First blood went to US Team with captain Tiger Woods the hot man on course playing alongside Justin Thomas but it was all Ernie's men from there, securing four straight points and sending the huge crowds into a frenzy. Matt Jones has made history at The Australian GC, winning his second Aussie Open championship in a drama filled Sunday with Louie Oosthuizen making a late challenge. Jones finished at -15 and had to nail a five footer for par to hoist the Stonehaven Cup for the second time. Mark Hayes is joined by Mike Clayton and Ben Everill.
