Keep Pushing Forward. Bert Pope, Founder of Awesome Company is on the Positive Podcast | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1430

Widower, Father of 4 Children, Quest to make the World more AWESOME. After Bert Pope’s wife Jill died in 2016 from a texting-while-driving accident, Bert was left to navigate raising their 4 children. Bert reminded all the children that they will never be without family and friends to help them, to guide them, and to love them. Bert’s focus became how to make sure they have forever the love and support they needed as they grew older, whether he was there or not. The exposure to the world around the children and the massive presence of digital sharing in ways never before seen made Bert dedicate himself to the quest not only to make the world around his children better but also to create a tool for all humanity to celebrate each other doing good and making the world better. It became clear there could be a way to make these social networking tools helpful instead of harmful. Bert saw social media which is plagued with negativity also as a beautiful open forum connecting us all. The task would be how to take a social forum and focus it to do good in the world, enjoying all the best things about social sharing and celebrating each other in a positive way. As a realtor, Bert knew that learning how to create a Social Networking Platform for positivity was out of his wheelhouse. “I have no idea why I felt led to create a social network focusing on positivity, but there is this strong push to make it a reality,” Bert said. “I’ve never felt so engaged and focused.” https://www.awesomecompany.com Bert said the resources were limited, and learning as you go was costly. The first creation started with an app called “Give an Awesome” which was enjoyed and used by many as a celebratory app to tell users and friends they are Awesome. The content creation tool has a great sharing space and people still enjoy the app today. “People shared and still share AWESOME buttons in the community celebrating friends and neighbors as being and doing Awesome stuff,” Bert said. After working with several focus groups with members of various ages, Bert learned they liked the “Give an Awesome” app but they wanted more. Other social networks they used also shared content and could be used for the same purpose of recognizing positive people by giving them an “Awesome.” They wanted to know how much positivity they were producing, what , where, how, why? Bert thought his quest was done: he just created a social network focusing on positivity doing the same as most of the other Social Networks through sharing. What now?Now the quest deepened, how do you help users see how much positivity they are sharing?Bert thought, “How about making it fun to do good. Make a game out of paying it forward with kindness”. Receive points for engaging doing good in Kindness Challenges and share on other social platforms to spread the kindness engagement. A kindness challenge would be; hold the door for someone, put change in the parking meter that is expired, take your neighbors trash to the curb, buy someone coffee behind you, or let someone ahead of you in line. These are some of the kindness challenges that would be available.Inside the persons profile shows a ring around their profile photo that glows brighter the more they engage in doing good. Accumulating points a person levels up and up, the ring changes colors and as it does each level is celebrated with an animated explosion celebrating the person doing good.Adding an ability for sharing inside the platform virtual animated emojicoins of love, laughter, awesome and happy birthday, adding a personal message points to help the person evolve inside the game. AWESOME was launched through Apple and Google Play. Shared through www.Awesome.oneUsers enjoy AWESOME, it had on its launch difficulties...

Staying Strong, Building Brands. Umberto Luchini, founder of Wolf Spirit is on the Positive Phil Podcast Show | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2115

Umberto Luchini is the founder and proprietor of Wolf Spirit LLC, a company which develops and owns spirit brands – such as Blood x Sweat x Teams Vodka of Eugene, OR -- as well as imports and markets others, such as Tom of Finland Organic Vodka from Finland. Umberto was born in Milan, Italy into a small, tight-knit family. He attended school in London, worked in France, became jobless after 9/11, and took a low-paying job with a great brand:  Campari (Monaco). Umberto rose through the marketing ranks, ultimately moving to San Francisco in 2004, where he resides today as an American citizen. Umberto remained with Campari America for 17 years, during which time he formed an award-winning team of 30 marketers, and developed Espolòn tequila (which is often compared to Tito’s Vodka because of its explosive growth). In 2017, Umberto founded Wolf Spirit; by the end of 2018 the distillery was built and their first product had been designed, packaged, and created; and sales began in 2019. Already the vodkas are available in 23 states, with 17 more slated to be onboard by the end of the year: this is an astonishing rate of growth, which usually requires 5 years rather than 12 months. Umberto is happier than ever and working harder than ever to grow his own company and brands, as he did in the past for many others. In his spare time, he enjoys high-endurance sports (triathlons, ultra-marathons, etc.) and traveling. Website to link to: https://www.wolfspiritdistillery.com/ * https://www.bstvodka.com/ * https://www.tomoffinlandvodka.com/The Positive Phil Podcast Show, a podcast, available on iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio, where Positive Phil talks about personal stories, events and engaging interviews; with famous people, celebrities, athletes, authors, spiritual educators, thought leaders, as well as others in the social, business and entertainment industry.Airing on over 300 digital channels, including iHeart Radio, Spotify, StitcherFm, Google Podcast and published online via RSS feeds globally. The show has been around for almost 4 years and is one of the most popular podcast shows on the internet in the business-motivation space.Professional radio, tv, podcast host and producer from San Diego California.  We have a large national following on digital media channels, with our popular podcast and network of shows.
