What does it take to be great? How can you be great now? Being great is easier than you think.

Although not the hot topic it used to be, this remains a divisive issue and for good reasons. When does life truly begin? Does a woman have rights over the baby inside her body? How do we help those most closely effected by abortion? It's a time for hope!

It's possibly the most politically, socially, and religiously charged topic of the past 25 years. What's the truth? What is the real issue? And how do we engage those who stand on the other side of this issue? It's time to get this one right.

It sounds narrow-minded, even prideful to suggest that there is only one way to God and that every other way and everyone else is wrong. What did Jesus say about it? It's clearer and more logical than you might think.

We simply don't all agree. We believe different things about the same issues. Who is right? Who is wrong? Why does it matter? And how do you interact with those with who you disagree? Jesus sets the perfect example.

You can't follow Jesus and stay where you are. What Next Steps are you ready to take?

About 50% of the families in our society are what we call blended. Divorce and remarriage has created a muddy, often sticky, reality of relationships that must be navigated with purpose and patience. There is much to consider and navigate, but the purpose of family will yet again be our guide.

There is no more beautiful earthly relationship than that of marriage. Rediscovering the purpose of marriage will guide and insure the health of any marriage. Keeping the bigger “Why” in mind provides a clear path for how to be married and love it. Remember, it takes two; actually, it takes three.

No greater, more challenging job exists on our planet than being a parent. Yet, there is no greater joy God has afforded us than the joys that come with parenting. Again, when we come back to the purpose of being a parent, and then parent with that purpose in mind, it keeps us on course. It doesn't get easier, just less complicated.

Dating is no game; it's a serious deal. But it's so messy, unpredictable, and exhausting - it's complicated. However, when you discover the purpose of dating, it begins to clear up and free up this important season of life. It doesn't have to be as hard as we make it.

There is perhaps no more complicated relational issue in our society than sex. Making sense of the bombardment of mixed messages we receive countless times a day is all about coming back to the purpose of sex. It's more than you think and best when we get it right.

When Jesus died and was buried, it looked like the end. But 3 days later He arose from the grave to prove that the “end” was really just the beginning. That's just how God works. He has a way of creating new beginnings from the parts of our lives that are dead. Because of Jesus, the conclusion is really a new introduction.

Perhaps no tension at work is more tense than the pull and tug between work and home. We gotta work to provide for those we love, but we all know our family relationships are much more important than our jobs. Therein is the tension. Inevitably, someone, at work or home, is gonna get cheated. We must learn how to cheat wisely.

How we work is as important, if not more so, than the fact that we work at all. Attitude matters more than we think. There is a mindset that God wants us to adopt that will keep our attitudes in check. In addition, it'll help us be more effective at work.

We work too much. We rest too little. God has given us a principle to help us find a rhythm of work and rest that will make us more productive and keep us healthy. Without it, we will lose our way. What's more, it's a command, not a suggestion.
