Summary: Stuart Hughes is an award-winning journalist based in London and author of the Beyond Northern Iraq blog (www.stuhughes.co.uk). In 2003, while covering the war in Iraq, he stepped on a hidden anti-personnel landmine which led to the amputation of his right leg below the knee. Stuart and his trusty artificial leg are now back on the road, reporting and blogging from around the world. Radio BNI is the audio companion to the Beyond Northern Iraq blog.
