Episode 141 – The Legend of Slippery Douglas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:24:57

Hi, everyone. We're back for episode 141. We talk a bit about Rush, Godzilla, INDISC, Jack Danger, Slippery Douglas, and touch on the upcoming TPF show. We also give our thoughts on the passing of Lyman Sheats, who we lost recently and far too soon. We would love to hear about your favorite memories of Lyman if you have any, what games he worked on are your favorites, or any love you have to share about Lyman and his contributions to the pinball hobby and community. If you have access to a Monster Bash, you should DEFINITELY play through the Lyman's Lament hidden mode. Below are the instructions for starting the mode. * Start a new game. * Don't launch the ball quite yet. * Flip both flippers at once 1 time. * Press the left flipper 11 times. * Press the right flipper 1 time. * Press the left flipper 5 times. * Press the right flipper 1 time. * Press the left flipper 6 times. * Press the right flipper 1 time. * If you hear Lyman say,"Totally!" you did it correctly. * Start the mode by shooting the scoop. To all those who are feeling loss over Lyman's passing, especially to those close to him, we offer up our condolences. Lyman was a true pioneer in pinball, a genuinely good person, and a genius that accomplished many things professionally and personally. Donations are being accepted in Lyman's name for NAMI (https://nami.org) as a way to remember him by showing support for those who struggle with mental health conditions and challenges.

 Episode 140 – Electric Bat Arcade | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 29:40

Apparently today is hashtag International Podcast Day or something. Well, we're here to celebrate by dropping another episode. In episode 140, Jessica talks with Rachel from the Electric Bat Arcade. Electric Bat is located in Tempe, Arizona and it's truly one of the best places to play in the Western United States. Take a listen to Jess and Rachel talk pinball and see if we finally find an answer to how many pinballs fit inside that bumper car (spoiler: we won't).

 Episode 139 – Stonehenge Comes Down | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:11:54

Wait, what?! Jeff and Jessica are back together again to discuss what's been going on recently in pinball. Turns out, plenty has happened. This is a return to regularly scheduled releases for The Pinball Podcast and we discuss new things to come. We touch on Deeproot, Spinal Tap, recent-ish releases, and what we've been up to and what we've got planned. Come rejoin us!

 Episode 138 – Ugly Gold Couch | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 18:41

We roll out another one of our location interviews this week as Jessica talks to Debbie from Ugly Gold Couch. This location is housed in a private location that is open for special events, corporate events, and quite often to the local pinball community. The game lineup is amazing, and it's a must-see for anybody passing through the Boise, Idaho area. You can find them online here: https://idahopinballmuseum.com/ We have a new "regular" episode coming up real soon, so we apologize in advance for Jeff's eventual bringdown of the vibe.

 Episode 137 – The Pinball Lounge | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 33:29

This week we have Ed Klamp on the show to talk about his location, The Pinball Lounge, out of Oviedo, Florida. We're hoping that you're enjoying getting to know all the people out there who work so hard to make location pinball so enjoyable and accessible to us all, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic. If you're ever passing through Florida, drop by and say hi to Ed and drop some coins!

 Episode 136 - Wedgehead | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:06:38

Jessica sits down to talk with Alan of Wedgehead out of Portland, Oregon. Wedgehead is a well-known location in the pinball world, especially if you're out in the Pacific Northwest area. And perhaps as famous as their well cared for pins, Wedgehead offers killer merch that you're see to see at any pinball show across the country. After listening to Alan and Jess talk pinball, look Wedgehead up online, here: https://wedgeheadpdx.com/

Ok, so episode 135 is actually episode 1...and really, with the B/C episodes and bonuses, that 135 is even more wrong. Whatever. But this exciting! We're launching a new ongoing series within the podcast feed where we're going to interview location owners, operators, and technicians! For our first episode, we feature The Richmond Pinball Collective. Let us know what you think about his new series and if you have suggestions for a location or want to be on, reach out to us! We would love to talk. Please to enjoy.

 Episode 130 – Always Trending Up | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:38:41

We're back! After taking a little break to cope with some heavy life stuff (job changes, new business launches, travel, death of friends, brushes with suicidal urges, medical care, financial distress, family obligations, and all sorts of other joyful things), we're back on the mics and we have a new show for you. The Evel has landed... Joe Zenkus has a new Pinball Popcorn for us, but we're saving it for the next show, which will be a lot more lighthearted than this one. Thanks, Joe, we're excited to roll that one out! Look forward to talk on this episode of NWPAS, RMPS, Nitro Pinball, the end of the Evel travels, Chris Franchi, and quite a bit more!

 Episode 129 – We Are Idiot | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:30

Jessica is back from Australia after competing in the ACS and a few other events. Amid all the excitement, Jeff and Jessica realized that they did a very bad job planning for upcoming pinball shows and have to pay for that mistake....literally pay for it. We also discuss other things. Pinball things.

 Episode 128 – Jessica Set to Destroy Head2Head | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 59:47

It's our first episode of 2019 and we have some fun stuff going on. Jessica is heading back to Australia to compete in the ACS and try to become the Australian pinball champion. At worst, we just want her to end up as the highest finishing podcaster. We also discuss The Munsters, both of us having had a chance to get good time on the game. If you want to support Jessica's trip to Australia by buying some Belles and Chimes swag, reach out and we'll be happy to get you hooked up. We'll get back to a more regular schedule soon. Thanks for listening!
