Even though Matt never got to see the actual Red Bull Linecatcher comp as it was cancelled on the day he headed out there, he used this amazing opportunity to catch up with all the guys we wish we knew better but who hide away behind massive pillow lines and years of mountaineering experience, such as Eliel Hindert. The shredder was high on Matt's wish list and he wasn't disappointed, so here it is, meet the new contender for this winter's new-age big mountain comps.
Matt caught up with Alaskan Tim Durtschi to chat Big Lines, TGR, and the eternal question, surf girls or ski girls.
Get low, go big and stomp. Canadian-born extreme skier Rory Bushfield's philosophy isn't just a bunch of words thrown out there to impress you, it's exactly what he does. With sickening parts in major movies like All.I.Can., The Dream Factory and Into The Mind, Rory has proven himself over and over again as one of the most badass skiers out there, so Matt was stoked on the opportunity to interview him at this year's Red Bull Linecatcher in Les Arcs. Guys wanna be him, girls wanna be with him. That pretty much sums up how we at EpicTV feel about Rory.
Matt goes in search of big mountain skiers Dash Longe and Dylan Hood to see what they have been up to in Chamonix this last week and what their plans are for the future.
