My planning was to do some more, but since my neighbour is making a lot of hammering noices, it took me over two hours to record just three verbs. Hello everyone, As promised, I made an episode about how to determine the stem of a regular Dutch verb. Be prepared, this is a difficult episode. But  after you have mastered to use the correct form of the verb, you can easily generate a good Dutch sentence. Enjoy this podcast. Shownotes: Take the whole verb remove the letters -en Example: fietsen -> fiets if this makes a stem wich end at two of the same consonants, you should remove one of them Example: schoppen -> schopp -> schop If it makes a stem with only one consonants only one vowel before this consonants, you will double the vowel. Example: Lopen ->lop -> loop When the last letter is a z, you should change this z into a s Example: reizen -> reiz -> reis When the last letter is a v, you should change this v into a f Example: leven -> lev -> leev -> leef
