 Push To Regen - Episode 13 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:10:16

For the first time since episode one - the guys don't sound like they're falling asleep! We recorded this one early last Thursday, and we're really pleased with how it came out. The guys talk about the Marvel Fan Vote, the - at the time - mystery DC set for May, and the new Amazing Spider-Man set!  We also cover a new series of fantastic articles posted on both the Heroclix.com site, as well as the HeroClix sub-reddit at reddit.com/r/heroclix discussing beginner and intermediate tactics, team building, and rules. We also, unfortunately, review the Tab App. Our preview picks this week include Robotic Royalty as well as a woman with a terribly dirty power name. Common Justice is once again back, featuring a feline fatale and a generic shapeshifter. Our $3 theme teams this week are inspired by a new video game release, and we cap it all off with a discussion on the strategy of picking your map. As a side note, a sincere thank you to all involved who provided us feedback on the things you'd like to hear - we're beyond fortunate to have you as listeners, and we only improve when you tell us where we need to grow. The show closes with our responses to your tweets, emails, and Facebook posts, and then finishes with everyone's favorite, Nate's Question of the Week. Once again, we provide you with over 2 hours of HeroClix nonsense, and hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we had making it. Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" The outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity." You can contact the show in the following ways: pushtoregen@gmail.com,@pushtoregen on Twitter, or by posting a comment about the episode you just listened to, either on the Podbean site, or feel free to leave us a rating and a review on iTunes! Give us a buzz on our Google Voice number (during normal waking hours on the east coast) at 321-236-2549. Also, Like us on Facebook, and join in the discussion! We'll also have a thread started in the A/V section of HCRealms! Don’t be afraid to push

 Push To Regen - Episode 12 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:05:48

As the guys eagerly anticipate the 10th Anniversary set releases, they take some time out to produce the Dirty Dozenth episode! Is dozenth a word? Do I care? This week, we go over some reveals for Streets of Gotham, thank a listener for our new logo, discuss some new ATA’s, but most importantly give some early information for the first ever west coast Clix for the Cure event. For previews this week, Jay talks about a certain Italian aristocrat with a love for hoodies, and Rob talks about a femme fatale who never saw a relic she didn’t like to steal. Regular segments include the always popular and well-loved common justice, featuring a blonde guy with pointy ears, and a green guy with a pointy head. We introduce a new segment called ‘Set List’...which I won’t lie, was a last minute choice to get some filler on the episode. Basically, we take our idea for what we think the next sets will be, and give a piece from each rarity that we’d like to see - and you know what that means! We want to see what YOU think should be in the four sets we suggested in episode 11! Give us your #1 pick per rarity (C, UC, R, SR, Chase) for the following sets - Wolverine The X-Men, Cosmic DC, Streets of Marvel, and Young Justice. Finally, we have our matchup with our $3 theme teams, featuring a collection of purple ladies of love, and the cast of The Craft. We close out, as always, with our tweets, emails, and facebook messages from our awesome listeners, two wonderful voice mails - one from our fellow Podcast host and good friend DarkLogos, as well as another amazingly lyrical message from Tony. Cap the show off with Nate’s Question of the Week, and you’re set for just over 2 hours of ‘Clix fun. Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" The outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity." You can contact the show in the following ways: pushtoregen@gmail.com, @pushtoregen on Twitter, or by posting a comment about the episode you just listened to, either on the Podbean site - http://pushtoregen.podbean.com, or feel free to leave us a rating and a review on iTunes!  Push To Regen Free Action Round 3 - Interview With 2012 Worlds Champion Alex Avila! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:18:30

This was originally going to be part of episode 12 - but the talk went so well and covered so much, Rob and I didn't think it should be cut down to fit the show. So instead - here it is in (nearly) all of its glory! Alex and I talked for about an hour and a half, and it was truly a wonderful experience. We cover everything from strategy, to favorite powers, team abilities, sculpts, comics, and even music. It was a really fun conversation, and I hope you guys have as much fun listening to it as I did doing the interview. Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" The outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity."  Push To Regen - Episode 11 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:16:50

A week late on recording, and a little late on posting, and at a lower audio quality than we'd like…but here's episode 11! First, I want to sincerely apologize for some of the audio issues in this episode - you can tell we were out of practice. We hit the table a BUNCH of times which caused some popping on the mic, and we sat a bit far back for most of the episode. We'll get it right next time! All that said, however, we've got some great content this episode! News this week covered the major news - rules clarifications on replacement characters, and most importantly the all new Vehicle Rules, which dovetailed nicely into one of our two preview talks this week, the Batmobile! We also discussed the Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle from the DC 10th Anniversary set - and topped off our show with $3 theme teams featuring the Avengers (b-team) versus the Femizons. The always popular Common Justice this week features the 9th Doctor and an explosive football referee. New this episode is a segment where we look at higher end pieces that need some love…which we weren't able to come up with a clever nickname for. It's been a heck of a couple of weeks. In this segment, we discuss a Secret Warrior with loyalty issues, an Excalibur villain, a holey Spidey bad guy, and a dastardly villain dressed in the flag of the U-S-of-A. All that, and tweets, emails, Facebook messages, a truly epic edition of Adventures In Google Voice Transcription, and Nate's question of the week. Push To Regen - Episode 10 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:15:09

Twenty-plus weeks after we started this journey, we’ve arrived at our landmark 10th episode. After our first episode, we honestly thought we’d be lucky to have 10 listeners – and instead, we’ve gathered around us a group of friends that also happen to listen to our show. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – we do this show for you guys, and thank you truly for continuing to listen and support us. Okay, now that the sappy stuff is out of the way… We’ve got news! The ultimate Mad Titan has been fully spoiled, we’ve got new ATA’s from Chaos War, some interesting – if vague – information from the latest Clix-A-Thon, all capped off with some preview images from the Batman set thanks to Game Trade Magazine – including the greatest hero you’ve never heard of. Previews this week include an insane industrialist with a penchant for orange explosives, a futurist who decided that we don’t need no stinkin’ gauntlets, and a one-eyed assassin who likes to get stabby stabby stabby. Common Justice this week brings us a member of the Brotherhood, Excalibur, and the New Mutants who can talk to computers, as well as a king returned. Our $3 theme teams bring you the eternal struggle between Politicians and Rulers. Finally, and while the dials aren’t up yet – they will be this week – our contest results!! We had 20+ submissions into our Drunk Dial contest, each being incredibly creative and well thought out. One in particular caught our eyes as our winner, but all were fun and smart. One of the dials submitted features a character called The Cat! He’s based on a YouTube webseries, and it’s a heck of a lot of fun. Check it out! Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" The outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity."  Push To Regen - Episode 9 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:01:29

Episode 9! We're almost to double digits - the official 'You've Made It!' line of demarcation when podcasting! It says so in this month's issue of Amateur Podcaster Monthly! All joking aside - happy Chaos War release episode! The guys focus pretty heavily on the newest edition to the HeroClix family, and talk about their favorite pieces, trends we've seen from the figures, and what they're on the lookout for in upcoming sealed events. There's also some news about the upcoming Batman set and the No Mans Land event, as well as the now fully spoiled (and possibly released, we're still fuzzy on that detail) Star Trek Away Team set. Common Justice this week features a cargo short wearing physician, and an intangible time traveling Young Avenger, while our $3 theme teams thematically fight on one of the new Chaos War maps, the Negative Zone Prison. All that, plus Tweets, Emails, Reddit comments (check out the HeroClix Sub-Reddit!), 'Realms messages, and Facebook posts, Nate's Question of the Week - and A CONTEST! To participate in the contest, you'll be creating your own Drunk Dial! Here's the catch - it has to be an unclixed figure. It can be from anything - your neighbors cat, Animal House, World of Warcraft - as long as the figure is balanced, playable, and accurate. And don't think we'll just be picking all wibbly-wobbly here, we're going to do research! The prize - and there's only ONE prize this time, sorry - will be big! You'll receive both maps from the Chaos War and Galactic Guardians OP kits, the 'Newer Fantastic Four' Wolverine LE from Galactic Guardians, the Nova Helmet special object from Galactic Guardians, the Cosmic Cube special object from Galactic Guardians, the Future Foundation Spider-Man from Chaos War, the Briefcase Armor special object from Chaos War, and the first 3D Ultra Heavy object from Chaos War, the Tank Turret! You'll need to use the Google Drive template , or provide us with the dial code from the HCRealms site, should you prefer the dial generator, and we MUST receive your entry, time-stamped by 8:00 PM eastern time on Wednesday, July 25th. Anything later and we'll already be recording, and at that point, the judging is closed! Good luck!! Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" The outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity."  Push To Regen - Episode 8 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:14

Welcome to Episode 8 of the Push to Regen podcast! This week, the guys go over some slides from the Montreal Retailers summit, briefly discuss the GenCon map menu, and give a quick talk about a couple previews - one, an time traveling despot, the other an evil geneticist. $3 Theme teams, featuring the forces of EXTREME versus the forces of peace - as well as a couple of bonus games - common justice, and a couple of Drunk Dials also make up this episode. We've also got an entry into Adventures in Google Voice Transcription, listener tweets and messages, and Nate's Question of the Week. And was there something about an easter egg? Possibly…you'll probably have to listen to the end to find out! Also, one of our listeners, Avarice Heroclix on Facebook, has an auction running for a custom LED Infinity Gauntlet resource dial, with 90% of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior project. You should bid it up - it's for a great cause! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Heroclix-Infinity-Gauntlet-custom-LED-light-up-USB-rechargeable-charity-/271005638227?pt=US_Comics_Figurineshash=item3f1931de53#ht_782wt_1185 Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?"  Push To Regen - Episode 7 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:16:36

So...yeah. This was originally supposed to be released two weeks ago. But, you know, technical problems. In this episode, we catch up on all the remaining previews, talk about the new rule book and PAC, have a quick chat about the Dark Knight Rises starter set - shout out to Steve at Clix Cast for the awesome maps - and close things out with Common Justice - featuring an intergalactic space pirate and a girl raised to be an assassin - as well as our ever popular $3 Theme Teams, this week pitting the forces of MODOK's 11 against the Teen Titans. All that, and you still get tweets, emails, and Nate's Question of the Week. In this episode, we also introduce a NEW segment - ADVENTURES IN GOOGLE VOICE TRANSCRIPTION!  Push To Regen Free Action - Round 2! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:03:50

After several weeks of trudging through the sadness pile that is a lost podcast, Jay and Rob are back with their second 'Free Action' episode - a special look aside from what we normally discuss to talk previews! In this episode, we go over all the previews that had been posted at the time of recording for Chaos War, DC 10th Anniversary, Marvel 10th Anniversary, and Justice League - needless to say, we talked...for nearly 3 hours. What you now have in your ears is the two hour edited version. As I mention at the top of the show, we don't get around to discussing the War of Light or GSX Fast Forces packs - most likely in our next full episode - the Creators 4-Pack, nor the Con exclusives - which will also, more likely than not, be brought up in our next full episode. Appreciate your patience as we've worked through the bugs - hope you enjoy the latest Free Action episode of the show! Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" The outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity." A new segment, a give away, news, previews, $3 Theme Teams, and Common Justice. Does it get better? This week, Rob and Jay get new nicknames, Jay sings a song about Captain America, we learn what the internet is truly made up of, and we continue our march towards the Dark Knight Rises and Chaos War releases. Stay tuned to the end of the show for the reveal of our $3 Theme Team contest winners! Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?"  Push To Regen - Episode 5 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:40:05

It’s been two weeks, and Jay and Rob are back! This week, the guys take a look at all the new previews that have launched, including Lieutenant Gordon and the GCPD Officer, The Scarecrow, Apocalypse, Doctor Fate, and Superman! They also drop some breaking news - straight from the Realms to your ear, true believer - about the now confirmed Assassins Creed Clix and BioShock Clix! There’s also a little bit of time to go over a little thing called the new Galactic Guardians ATA’s and the new May 2012 Player’s Guide! (Seriously, Wizkids, nice work - love how quickly these were turned around to the community! Our $3 theme teams continue the eternal struggle between Spy and Robot, while our Common Justice pieces involve an angry man in a speedo, and a guy who’s his own baseball team. That, plus listener emails, listener tweets, and the always popular Nate’s Question of the Week! And did someone mention something about a Super Rare giveaway? Oh! And we’d like to point out that one of our new listeners is a great Video Podcast by the name of HeroClix Show over on YouTube. Subscribe, like, and check them out - they do awesome work! Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?"  Push To Regen - Episode 4 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:26:07

This week, the guys spend some time talking about the new Dark Knight Rises previews, give a VERY brief summary of their Galactic Guardians pulls, and go over a couple listener suggested segments - The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly of sculpts, and Best Friends - pieces that play well together. All that, and they still squeeze in $3 Theme Teams, Common Justice, Listener Mail, and Nate's Question of the Week. Detailed show notes will be posted later on the Podbean site! That's right - despite the fact that we've only had two whole episodes so far, we felt it immensely important that we provide you with our reactions to both the new ATA's from the 2012 Players Guide rollout, as well as our detailed, impartial analysis of the GAMA slides that were released last week. Well, impartial might be a BIT of an overstatement. To put it bluntly, we geek the heck out for pretty much an hour. (And this was supposed to be a 25-30 minute episode!) Introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" Outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity."
