 Push to Regen - Episode 20 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:37:57

It's been a minute, but we're back! This week, we cover the barrage of news that was the 2013 New York Toy Fair, we talk over the new February Players Guide, DOTA 2 Clix, and the triumphant return (in a 'Clix compatible release) of Mage Knight! Our previews consist of a soviet super-soldier (not one of THOSE Soviet super-soldiers) and a young homicidal alien bastich. We also deliver, this episode, a segment people have been clamoring for for nearly a year. Seriously. Never let it be said that we don't fulfill our promises. You can, however, totally say we don't fulfill our promises in a timely manner. We take some time out to talk about the nuances and specifics of Vehicle dials this episode as well. It's pretty good stuff, so be sure to give it a listen. Also, in a special segment, Jay sat down with Norm Barth of Clixathon to talk bout the event coming up March 23rd and 24th. Be sure to listen up for details on the event, as well as check out the website for the event - www.clixathon.com AND we talk your emails, and, of course, Nate's Question of the Week! Watch your Schmidlapp! Clean your Fangschliester! It's time for the show! Visit the shows website at http://pushtoregen.com! You can contact the show in the following ways: pushtoregen@gmail.com,@pushtoregen on Twitter, or by posting a comment about the episode you just listened to, either on the Podbean site - http://pushtoregen.podbean.com, or feel free to leave us a rating and a review on iTunes!  Push To Regen - Episode 19 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:08:56

Happy Amazing Spider-Man release episode! The boys dive head first into the (at the time) known facts about the Amazing Spider-Man, talking about their favorite dials, what they feel was missing from the set, and some other bits and bobs. Other news covered this week revolves around the first official ad for the upcoming Teen Titans set, No Man's Land Month 3 spoiled, the dates and times for Clixathon 2013 - and the big one, the changes to the 2013 January Players Guide. Previews this week cover the daughter of the devil himself, and a man who rocks jungle potions and a vest made from a face. A FACE. We didn't actually get around to playing our game this week - life conspired against it - but we built what we feel were good teams around two of the common pieces from Amazing Spider-Man - Dr. Druid and Johnny Blaze. We theorize…the games will return next episode, promise. In our anchor segment, we sit down for an hour conversation with the Creative Director of HeroClix, Brian Roll. It's a fascinating conversation into what goes into creating a set - from assembling the setlist, to how a sculpt is determined. Be sure to follow Brian on twitter at @OdysseyArtTorch. We want to hear your answer to the Huey Lewis question. Trust me, you'll know it when you hear it. All that, and we still do tweets, emails, and Nate's Question of the Week.  Push To Regen - Episode 18 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Holy news bomb, WizKids. Seriously. Gonna be honest, when the show notes for the episode were written, we thought we'd skate by talking about the Spider-Man setlist, as well as the Iron Man 3 solicits. Easy peasy. But, NO. Of COURSE not. Mega. Ton. Bomb. This week, the guys kick things off talking about the aforementioned Spidey setlist, the Origins national championship dates, as well as covering the solicits for a metric ton of sets - Iron Man 3, The Man of Steel, and Bioshock Infinite (all of which have starter sets!) We also learn about the new Tab App Elite game - well, we learn about the solicits, and see that it looks to be heavily influenced by the Skylanders series of video games - and that's not even remotely close to being a bad thing. We wrap up news with a peek into the leaked month 4 OP kit for No Man's Land, and move into our previews - one of which is a duck facing lord of the underworld (trust me, it'll make sense when you hear the show), the other being a shocking choice. Our game this week consisted of dwarves and honorary hobbits versus a league of justice. Yeah, you can probably guess how THAT one went. And in our anchor segment this week, we spend over an hour with 2012 worlds champion Alex Avila, asking him burning questions on our mind, but, more importantly, many of the questions YOU had for him get answered as well. All that, and we STILL have time for your tweets, emails, wall posts, and the always terrifying Nates Question of the Week - and this time, we make Alex answer with us! Heyyyy! We made a podcast! And I didn't screw up the save file this time! That's right, we're back - Episode 17b, 17 Part Deux, 17 the Lesser…whatever you wanna call it, is FINALLY in your ears. This episode sees the guys go over the usual - news, preview, and whatnot. We talk about the AMAZING 12 Days of Clixmas, as well as going over previews of some Amazing figures from the upcoming Spider-Man set. A battle between a family of bats and some New Warriors took place in Crime Alley - our Common Justice pieces included a girl and a red purse, and a guy who called himself Prime before there were Prime figures. All that, and we do our 2012 year in review, giving you our Top 5 Figures, 5 Things We Felt Missed the Boat, Favorite Special Object, Favorite Map, and Overall Favorite Set. And to close it out, as always, we hear from you, our amazing listeners. And we hear from Nate, who is decidedly less amazing than you. How about that new theme song? This week, the boys discuss show news, with a smattering of Clix specific news as well. Our previews this week were for the epitome of clear plastic, as well as a nuclear flightless bird-man. We also go into a pretty in depth discussion featuring the long standing rivalry between the Justice League International and the X-Men, as well as having an Unexpected Segment.  Push to Regen - Episode 15 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:52:35

Happy belated Batman and Hobbit release day! This week, the guys introduce a momentous format change to a couple segments (resulting in more of the same dreck), talk about the news, and discuss two pieces for Common Justice involving a hoodlum and a - sorry, can't tell you. Spoilers. Our previews this week involve a character of Liefeldian design, and one who would kill you should you look at her wrong. All that, and we've got our normal tweets, emails, Facebook posts, and the always popular Nate's Question of the Week. A very Happy Thanksgiving to our U.S. listeners - Rob and Jay are truly thankful that you guys let us be a small part of your lives every couple of weeks by inviting us into your brain. What are you guys thankful for this week? As a special note - one of our long time listeners, Chuck Boswell, let us know about a scenario he's running, and we really thought it was amazing and wanted to pass it along to you guys. Let us - and thusly, Chuck -  know what you think! KUNG FU: KILLER COMBO! 300 points, Golden Age Restricted (no Tactics). All figures must have the Martial Artist keyword and NOT be able to use HSS. After a figure makes a successful close combat attack, place a combo token on their character card. Upon receiving a third token, remove all tokens and immediately perform a KILLER COMBO! Roll a d6: the character may immediately perform that many close combat actions as free actions, stopping immediately if any attack roll  misses. When a character is KO'd, the controller may pay 25¢ to return the figure to its starting area on its starting line. (Points are still awarded for the KO) The game ends after 50 minutes; highest score of all tables gets the quarters (preferably as store credit). All games played on crisis time zone maps (for additional mayhem!) So...yeah. It's been, what - a month? Two? A year? Sorry for the delay, sincerely. BUT - as a reward for your patience, you're getting the longest episode of PTR ever! We talk news, we talk previews, we have listener emails, we've got Adventures in Google Voice Transcription, and of course - Nate's Question of the Week! We also have some great Common Justice pieces featuring a guy with a hit television show, and another that's a chess piece. Our $3 Theme Teams feature the eternal struggle between Science and Armor (you'll find that this was not a true 'eternal struggle'.) For our featured segment this week, we do Drunk Dials, with two characters from DC - a frigid captain and a talllll drink of water, and two characters from Marvel - a lovable thief, and a schizophrenic super-hero (with a seriously awesome mechanic that Rob designed.)
