The PulpMX.com Show
Summary: Motocross fans of the world connect to their sport every week on the groundbreaking PulpMX.com Show. Tune in Monday nights at 5PST/8EST for an entirely new way to get your bench racing fix.
This week Darkside welcomes on Michelin's Randy Richardson and Race Tech's Checkerz to cover the Red Bull JS7 helmet, the return of Kenny Watson, Steve's vindication on "set up" by Zach Osborne, Evan Ferry causing depression, silly season and more
Zach-O is a true friend of the show and comes on to talk about going back to back from his first 450SX win to his first 450MX OA win at Loretta Lynn's to kickoff the Nationals. Lil Red Dog Evan Ferry come-on to talk his rise through the amateur ranks and plans for the future. Chiz joins us to talk about WINNING PulpMX Fantasy at LL's and how he's gonna help Tevin Tapia with his prize. Ryan Gauld talks Canadian Moto and the OG Kdub
It's honestly the first real nuclear moment on the fresh-faced PulpMX Show. Marc Pellegrino came in hot and generated an instant classic. Andrew Shot makes an appearance as well as CLMoser of course. JT$ comes on for the first time and Dean Wilson as well. The OG KDub is on the job as well.
Darkside welcomes on Checkerz from Race Tech and Tallon from the Pulpmx Show to discuss taking LL's seriously, the nationals, is the Pulpmx sticker deal cursed, Cold Stone ice cream and much more
Benny Bloss is running his own privateer effort for the quickly approaching Nationals and we talk to him about how that transpired. Cole Seely was part of FMX Fite Club last week and we check in with the former Factory rider to see what he though of that. Weege joins us from the Loretta Lynn's Ranch to talk all things amateur National. We have Kellen Brauer in studio too!
We sit around and preview the 2021 Fly Racing gear as well as some banter about, well, stuff.
This week Darkside does a classic wrap up of show #262 with Justin Jennings, Connor Olsson and Brian Fullerton. They discuss Tony Alessi coming back on for the first time since Lasergate, shopping carts, Ridgelines, Pingree, Keefer losing his virginity story and much more. Keefer himself even calls in!
This Throwback Classic has a ton of Stew talk which is weird because it was unbeknownst to us, his last hurrah. Ken Roczen is in the midst of an incredible 2016 MX title chase. Tony Alessi comes on for the first time since Lazergate and is much more subdued. Keefer loses his virginity and the origin of the Shopping carts story is dropped!
This week Travis Marx & Justin Starling join Darkside and discuss the great guests, lobsters & Pulp fans, Geico's bench warmers, does Steve have personal goals, and more. Plus an all new Hello Pookie.
We finally have a National Motocross schedule and we have the man who has been working super hard to make that happen, Davey Coombs of MX Sports, to talk about the logistics of it. We also have AC on to talk about how his 450 MX prep has been going and what his goals are for this series. Christian Craig also comes on to discuss his foray into 450MX. We have Justin Starling in studio guest-hosting!
In case you are too new of a listener to have lived through the event and this classic show in real-time, here it is. The Lazergate event is possibly the nuttiest event to ever happen at a pro Motocross race *unless you take into account Lot B at Red Bud. Settle in for a nearly 5hr nonstop Crazytrain. There's sooooo many show references still noted today that were born here. Enjoy!
Settle in, especially if you weren’t on-board in the early days of the show. There’s a lot to ingest here. The stage is set in the Lion’s Den with JT$, Nick Wey and Weege in studio. There’s racing talk, a call from Watson, Fake Guiseppe Luongo calls in and the laugh-a-minute plateaus with Weege’s first revelation of his backyard wrestling tapes, announcing amateur wrestling and the hands-down best wrestling “finishing move” ever conceived. This show is on the shortlist of most laughs ever!!
Darkside welcomes on champions Connor Fields and Jason Thomas to discuss the latest Pulpmx Show and the roundtable format, Yamaha's, "set-up", the Keefer's, Tech Man, Yoda and the guests chemistry
We've got a bushel of heavy hitters all in studio tonight so not much airtime for phone guests unless your name is Ryan Villopoto. Tons of great current event Moto talk and plenty of crap talking as well. We even knock out a Keefer After Dark.
This week Darkside welcomes on privateer heroes Cade Clason and Alex Ray to discuss Pulpmx Show #430 including Cade winning the Yamaha LCQ Challenge cash, the Sexton/Nichols incident, Eli Tomac, Betts vs Skip in the trivia challenge, Matthes vs Betts and much more
