In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers and that includes the continued pro day tour to see the top quarterbacks in this year’s draft class. We talk about who has been spotted with head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Kevin Colbert these last few days and what it all means.My first mock draft of 2022 hit the site on Friday morning and as promised, Alex and I break it down by selection. It obviously includes a controversial trade up for a quarterback and we spend a lot of time talking about the team likely to draft a quarterback in the first round this year.Former steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster explained on Thursday that his former team indeed made him an offer to stay in Pittsburgh. He explained why that offer didn't fit his needs so Alex and I discuss that and how it fits what I explained was likely the case a few days ago.What's the latest with cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon re-signing with the Steelers? We discuss that topic. We also talk about where all else the Steelers have been when it comes to pro days this past week.As usual, we get to answering a few emails that we have received from listeners since the Wednesday show to close out this episode.

In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers. We go over the interview that new Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky had on Friday on SiriusXM NFL Radio and also talk about his contract numbers that have now been verified. We discuss what Trubisky’s contract means past the 2022 season.The Steelers sent the house to Liberty pro day on Tuesday to see quarterback Malik Willis so that is most definitely covered by Alex and myself. We talk about what that turnout means and also go over several things that Liberty head coach Hugh Freeze said about Willis on Tuesday. We also discuss what it might take in the way of a trade for the Steelers to move up to select Willis in the first round of the draft, should they like him as much as we think they do.The Steelers also had a heavy presence at the Pittsburgh pro day on Monday to watch quarterback Kenny Pickett go through his throwing session. We discuss that production and more. We also talk some about where the Steelers might go on Wednesday with Ole Miss and Ohio State both scheduled to hold their annual pro days.Alex continues on with his annual pro day tracking so we go over the latest spottings he has made with one of those being quarterback coach Mike Sullivan way out in Nevada. We talk a little about the Utah State pro day being on Wednesday as well.The numbers for the contract signed by new Steelers offensive lineman Mason Cole are now out so Alex and I go over that three deal near the end of this show. Late in the show I provide a salary cap update. We then tie up a few loose ends and then get to answering a few emails that we have received from listeners since the Monday show.

In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest moves made by the Pittsburgh Steelers and that includes the signing of wide receiver/returner Gunner Olszewski two a two-year deal. We discuss what Olszewski brings to the table and how Alex predicted this move.The Steelers have lost two more unrestricted free agent wide receivers over the weekend in JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington so Alex and I discuss those two players. We talk about the one-year contract that Smith-Schuster signed with the Chiefs and what all we think happened on the Steelers’ end that led to him leaving via free agency.The Steelers have interviewed a few more candidates for their general manager position so Alex and I make sure to cover the new names and more. We also discuss the busy pro day schedule the Steelers are likely to have this week which will likely include them looking at several young quarterbacks.Alex has a new mock draft out as of Monday morning, so we go over it from start to finish. We talk some about Steelers needs as we sit here on this Monday and discuss a few players they might have interest in signing in the coming days.The Cleveland Browns traded for quarterback Deshaun Watson over the weekend so you can be sure Alex and I discuss that transaction. We also talk about the Steelers salary cap status as on Monday morning. The great John Clayton passed away over the weekend, so Alex and I make sure to address that news item late in this show.As usual, we attempt to answer several listener questions to wrap up this episode.

In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest moves made by the Pittsburgh Steelers and that includes the re-signing of cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon. We discuss how Witherspoon and new cornerback Levi Wallace fit in the Steelers defense and more.The Steelers have now lost unrestricted free agent wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud to the San Francisco 49ers, so Alex and I discuss that news. We also talk about the status of two Steelers unrestricted free agents, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and safety Terrell Edmunds, entering Friday.Alex and I talk about a few other unrestricted free agents the Steelers might have interest in moving forward. In this late Wednesday night show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest moves made by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the start of the new league year now underway.Since we last talked on the Wednesday morning podcast, the Steelers have signed inside linebacker Myles Jack and released tackle Zach Banner. The team is also now poised to released inside linebacker Joe Schobert.Alex and I spend a lot of this Wednesday night emergency show talking about the addition of Jack and what his tape says. We also talk about the rest of the inside linebacker room moving forward.We then wrap up the release of Banner and potential release of Schobert and the cap ramifications related to those moves.Alex and I will be back on Friday morning with another episode.
