Plaid Pantry Robbery - March 3, 2011Cross Tattoos on Right Hand
Portland Police Robbery Detectives have been investigating several armed robberies in the past few months involving two men that have been armed. Investigators believe that the robberies may be connected and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a series of robberies that have occurred in the Portland metro area. ;Robbery detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for five Portland area robberies at Plaid Pantry stores. In each robbery, the suspect entered and left on foot and in some has implied a weapon.

On March 2, 2011 Terra Linda Elementary School held a fundraiser in honor of one of their own. ; Sam Day, 9, suffers from Ewing Sarcoma, a rare childhood bone cancer. Students, Portland police officers and the U of O Duck ran laps around the school to raise funds for the Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Sam Day is the son of Portland Police Commander Bob Day.
CASE NUMBER: 88-88210 The Wheatley family asks your help in solving this crime. On August 29, 1988, police responded to a welfare check at 2612 N Holman and discovered the bodies of 61-year-old ROBERT WHEATLY , and his wife 69-year-old FRIEDA WHEATLEY . The motive appears to be a residential robbery and the medical examiner determined the cause of death to be strangulation. The home was ransacked and a television, ATM and credit cards, and a light green 1979 Buick Regal - were stolen. There is a cash reward offered for information reported to the Cold Case Homicide Unit that leads to an arrest in this case.

Portland Police / Most Wanted Case #10-97537
Portland Police Robbery Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect. On December 8, 2010, the suspect walked up to the counter of Towler’s Market, located at 621 Southwest 19th Avenue, and presented a note demanding money. The clerk did not give the suspect any money and the suspect left in an unknown direction on foot. ;Approximately 30 minutes later, the suspect walked up to the counter of the Swan Mart, located at 4440 Southwest Barbur Boulevard, with a demand note and obtained an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect left the location in an unknown direction on foot.
On January 22, 2011 at 5pm the Subway Restaurant located at 2915 SW Cedar Hills Blvd in Beaverton was robbed at gunpoint.
