DJ Diva Dee's Music Notes: The 1990's supergoup "Lucy Pearl" consisted of 3 very talented artists who were each a member of R&B and Hip Hop groups. Raphael Saadiq (former member of Tony! Tonie! Tone!) and D'Angelo created "Lucy Pearl". D'Angelo unfortunately was not able to move forward with the group however Dawn Robinson (fromer member of En Vogue) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (former member of A Tribe Called Quest) together formed "Lucy Pearl". The group released their self-titled debut album "Lucy Pearl" in 2000. "Dance Tonight", a single from that album earned them a Grammy Award nomination for "best R&B Vovla Performance by a Duo or Group" and an American Music Awards nomination for Best R&B/Soul Single- Group, Band or Duo. Unfortunately this group disbanded sometime after 2002. * Don't Disturb This Groove The System * Tasty Love Freddie Jackson * Caravan Of Love The Isley Brothers * Gotta Get you Home Tonight Eugene Wilde * Dance Tonight Lucy Pearl * II Hype Entouch * She's Playing Hard To Get Hi-Five * Who Do you Love Bernard Wright * Games People Play Sweet G

DJ Diva Dee Music Notes: Stevie Wonder was born Stevland Hardaway Judkins in Saginaw Michigan. He plays the synthesizer, piano, keyboards, harmonica, clavinet, drums, bass guitar, congas, bongos, melodica, keytar and accordion. There isn't enough space here to document the "wonders" of Stevie but it's quite obvious to everyone with ears that this man is simply an amazing talent! Frank McComb has been compared to Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder. He was also an orginal member of Branford Marsalis’band “Buckshot LeFonque”. Frank started his his production company, Boobeescoot Music and has released his third album “Straight from the Vault”. The “Wedding Song” in this playlist is from Frank’s “Love Stories” CD. * Ribbon In The Sky Stevie Wonder * Wedding Song Frank Mc Comb * I Belong To You Rome * Every Time I Close My Eyes Babyface * Spend My Life Eric Benet and Tamia * All My Life KC and JoJo * You and I O'Bryan * On Bended Knee Boyz II Men * Here and Now Luther Vandross * If Only You Knew Patti LaBelle * Love's Holiday Earth, Wind and Fire * You Give Good Love Whitney Houston * Cherish The Day Sade * Feenin Jodeci * Love All Over Me Monica * I Love You Faith Evans * Computer Love Zapp
