 THE ROOM ACTRESS ROBYN PARIS | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 35:01

In this interview,” The Room” actress Robyn Paris, opens up about shooting the worst film ever, the awkward premiere and Tommy’s abusive behavior. Robyn claims that director Tommy Wiseau has actively gone out of his way to stop the former stars of his film from profiting from their “The Room” fame.”The Disaster Artist” could not tell everyone’s story of filming “The Room.” Here’s Robyn Paris’ story.   After the second actress playing “Lisa” was fired, Tommy Wiseau promoted Juliette Danielle from a smaller part to the female lead. So Robyn Paris got a frantic phone call from Greg Sestero asking how soon she could be on set. Robyn Paris had less than an hour to get on set, learn her lines and start shooting her infamous role as Michelle, a.k.a. “Chocolate Girl.”  Almost 10 years later the movie has gone mainstream and Robyn has launched a career as a writer/director. Robyn has been able to turn her turn as Michele into a career as a filmmaker. The actress has written and directed the “Funny or Die” web series, “The Room Actors: Where Are They Now? A Mockumentary.”  Support Robyn’s show by joining her Patreon page.  More “The Room” interviews below: Proudly Resents Room Episodes: Sandy Schklair’s first interview: Philip Halderman: Tommy Wiseau: Newcomers review of The Room: Rick Harper, Director of the Room doc, “Room Full of Spoons” More fun stuff: Play “The Room” video game!  “The Disaster Artist” The Real Sandy Schklair | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 54:49

  Sandy Schklair wrote the book, “Yes, I Directed The Room” to let you know just that. I interviewed the script supervisor and controversial director in his home about what it was like to see his life on the big screen in the new James Franco movie, “The Disaster Artist” and being played by a movie star, Seth Rogan. Sandy explains why he feels he directed the film, why he deserves credit and what that means to him. He also clears up some discrepancies in the movie “The Disaster Artist.” Sandy Schklair also tells some great behind the scenes stories including the origin of the spoon. Check out lots more in Sandy’s book, “Yes, I directed the Room.” I want to thank Sandy and Dina for doing the interview and Rick Harper and Alexandre Royal Pelletier for setting it up. Well, what do you think? Did Sandy direct the movie and if so, so what? What did you think of The Disaster Artist. This is the second interview I did with Sandy. Listen to it to see some contradictions. Let me know what you think – @proudlyresents on Twitter or email me at Reachadam@mac.com.  Before "LA LA Land" there was "Hollywood Musical!" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 28:32

Before “LA LA Land” didn’t win the Oscar, there was another musical about making it in Hollywood that didn’t deserve any awards. “Hollywood Musical!” came out two, maybe ten years before “LA LA” landed in theaters. Today is a rare solo show. Ok, the only one. It’s my one time doing it alone. So listen on 1.5 speed. Or even 2X. It will sound fine. This is also a rare show where I shit on a movie. It’s a dull, out of focus movie with a couple of sharp performances from Dee Ann Newkirk and Angela Pupello. After thoughts: This was recorded way before “La La Land” came out.  But I put it on hold b/c I thought it was too mean and didn’t like that it was just me. So I’m putting it out now with little or no fanfare and just a core people listening to the show. I have another episode I was afraid to post. I might do that next. Plus, remastering old episodes that are no longer on itunes and/or need help with audio (AKA – sounded like shit) Thanks to everyone who stayed with the show and thanks for your support. Here are real Amazon reviews of “Hollywood Musical!” Top customer reviews 2.0 out of 5 stars Lame production of as potentially great story. ByTomon March 14, 2017 I have never watched a movie this “lame” – well, not since about 1970. Actually, there were some good parts. Some of it was very funny – especially the first few minutes. And there was some good acting. It was a great story, but the directing, the production – technically good – but the story – it’s a great story, but it’s the script I think – the good story never came across in as a dramatic way as it could have. The lamest part? The songs they sang at these weird moments – and the songs were lame. They sounded like Broadway singers – in a movie! And the lyrics and the songs – they really slowed things down. The songs did not make sense. I skipped over most of the songs. I feel bad because the story had potential. It just didn’t get told. 4.0 out of 5 stars Good Story, Sometimes A Little Slow ByC. Bellon January 5, 2017 I really enjoyed the story and watching the characters develop. The actors and actresses weren’t the perfect beauty types which made the story even more real to me. One of my favorite songs is in the middle of the movie Something Has To Give, it brings in all the main characters. I also liked that the ending was about hope, which was discussed before. Not everyone had a perfectly happy ending, and it’s still up in the air if any of them actually will become a star, but they still keep the hope and keep trying. The four stars is because in some parts did get a little bit on a slow side, but overall a pretty good musical. 3.0 out of 5 stars Great telling of this life ByEric R. Hansenon February 21, 2015 I really enjoyed it. Some of the lyrics were a little cheesy. Overall, I think it was very well thought out and put together. A lot of care and love went into this project and the subject matter is really important. So many people are slugging it out to work in the theater and movies etc. If you have any connection to the artistic world, please watch this movie. 1.0 out of 5 starsHard to watch By

 Is Tommy Wiseau Scared of Rick Harper? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:17

“The Room” is fully exposed in Rick Harper’s doc “Room Full of Spoons.”   Find out a   bout the legal feud with Tommy, their strange friendship, where Tommy is actually from, how much work did it take to find his home town, and what Rick thinks of James Franco’s new movie “The Masterpiece.” RICK REVEALS WHERE TOMMY IS FROM! Rick Harper is a filmmaker who likes many became obsessed with what’s been considered, the Citizen Kane of bad films, called “The Room.” The movie is about a man betrayed by his best friend and his future wife. Turns out, the story behind the story is even more fascinating. The most interesting person in this is the film’s director, Tommy Wiseau. Rick spent over five years and $100,00 of his own money to make the definitive document in the room.his fascinating documentary, “room full of spoons” is available on Roomfullofspoons.com. Review of “Room Full of Spoons” The man who writes “The Room” fan fiction & his version of the pre-quel. Two newcomers give their reaction to “The Room.” Review from IMDB.com I had no idea of what the hell I was gonna watch… a documentary about the worst movie ever??? Can it be good or will it be bad as the movie? Well this documentary is great, and even if it is 2 hrs long, it doesn’t feel like 2 hrs… I guaranteed that you will laugh will watching, and then you will for sure make at least one research on Google to know more about the movie The Room even if pretty much all the topics are covered in the documentary. It also demonstrate the great quality that an independent studio can deliver as a final product… It can be easily compared to big production documentaries. It is easy to follow since the story line is well written and the different topics are well presented. Nice jobs made by the production. Great time guaranteed to watch with your friends!

 “Air-Raid” No More. Aaron Roden is a Quitter! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:03

Air-Raid is no more.  Today I’m talking to podcaster Aaron Roden. For the past 5 years Aaron was the host of “Air-raid.” a super cool music interview show out of Seattle.   I know him because he’s in my facebook group “the Independent Podcast Alliance.” a group for people who do shows out of their kitchens and basements. he recently posted that he was stopping his show. I was bummed and asked him to come on the show and talk about his show. I know this has nothing to do with movies, but Aaron’s an interesting guy and this In the past 5 or 6 years I’ve been doing this show, my life has changed and made it harder to spend as much time on it. So i’ve thought about ending. There have been long stretches between episodes. Which was something i availed for years. But I still have more episodes in me before i pack it up and spend time with my daughter.   The Tommy Wiseau Interview We talked about on the show: From his About page: The Air-Raid podcast launched in the summer of 2010 after host, Aaron Roden, an avid podcast listener, had an epiphany—he likes to talk and he has some great friends with interesting stories. Why couldn’t he have his own podcast featuring his friends as guests? Originally intended as a something Drinking in the Studiothat Aaron (Air) and wife, Mairead (Raid) would co-host, the format quickly changed when Mairead sat in front of the microphone and realized that dead air doesn’t make for good fake radio. She decided to switch her focus to behind-the-scenes work. Air-Raid wasn’t Aaron and Mairead’s first joint venture. In 2008, the pair briefly contributed to a dueling music blog. The blog lived on MySpace as “Larry vs. Mary” and served as a medium for Aaron and Mairead to fight about music reviews. The blog was short-lived, but served as a necessary stepping stone to podcastery. As Air-Raid gained momentum in its second year, Aaron augmented his guest pool with entertainers. The show morphed into a musician/comedian talk show, delving into life stories and journeys to the present. Guests range from comedians like Dana Gould (The Simpsons, Seinfeld) and Pete Holmes (Ugly Americans), to Souse and Seussmusicians such as John Roderick (The Long Winters) and Eric Early (Blitzen Trapper). Despite the change in focus, Aaron still finds time to discuss vital podcasty things, like farts. In the summer of 2011, Air-raid joined other Seattle podcasts on the Noizbeam Network, a product of Fisher Communications. After Noizbeam disbanded in early 2012, Air-raid joined the ranks of mynorthwest.com and KIRO radio, where it now resides. Thanks to Aaron for coming on the show.  Michael Keaton is “Jack Frost” w/ Bret Berg | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 29:27

Michael Keaton, before he was “The Founder,” he was “Jack Frost.” We talk to one of the writers of the film and review the movie! My friends a frequent guests Paul Sullivan and Jeff Cesario talk about about Jack Frost. We were recording an episode about “The fish that saved pittsburgh and Jeff drops the bomb that he co-wrote “jack Frost!!!” what the what!??! Jeff, by the way, wrote for the larry sanders show and was the comic that was always bumped from the show. So Jeff gives context and behind the scenes stories. But first! Brett Berg, who used to program films for the legendary Cinefamily theater and is now a hot shot at Alamo Drafthouse Theaters in LA, talks about his take on Jack frost. We were at a party he threw where he showed a 45 minute version of Jack Frost. He said he felt like the showing the whole film would pissed people off, so he just showed the good parts. He also did an edit of “Silent night deadly night 5: the toy maker” with Micky Rooney. We didn’t get a chance to talk about it. As you can hear, there was a party going on outside, so it was hard to do a longer interview. We have a sponsor, Tee Public. It’s great quality cool t-shirts. Go to Proudlyresents.com/shirts for star wars life day, breaking bad, the room an dother themed christmas shirts. Also a great place to get gifts. They are running a sale right now. So their normal decent price is now low. I love their shirts and I was able to curate the ones I think you’ll dig too. I hope you liked the show. Go to Proudlyresents.com/fish to hear the full interview with Paul and Jeff. Besides tearing about “The Fish that saved Pittsburgh they talk a lot about writing for comics like Dennis miller and Garry Shandling. Jeff came on this show a few times playing his very funny character, chet the sports guy. I’ll have links to those episodes and the many funny reviews Paul has done on our show.

 @AdamFelber & @DuBouchet Review Movies | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 7:23

Adam Felber and Andres Du Bouchet perform their classic “tough” movie reviewers from the “website” “Ain’t Everything Cool dot Yes!” They’ve done these characters a few times over the years on the podcast. Always funny.  Here are a couple of past reviews from “Ain’t Everything Cool Dot Yes”: Here and here I produced a live comedy show with Adam Felber and Andres Du Bouchet. We’re doing it again in January. If you’re in LA, let me know.  Here’s info on the show Giant Tuesday Night of Amazing Inventions and Also There is a Game’s 15th Annual Holiday Special! Francisco Guglioni (CONAN writer/performer Andres du Bouchet) is a fictional character, and he knows it. Armed with nothing more than a vague “sketch comedy accent”, and the most minimal of backstories, he has been entertaining crowds here in the states for 15 years with his extravaganza ‘Giant Tuesday Night of Amazing Inventions and Also There is a Game’, a rollicking variety show that is exactly what it sounds like. Now, along with his trusty fictional keyboardist, manager and parrot wrangler Hank Mayonnaise (Adam Felber from Real Time with Bill Maher and NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me), Francisco brings his absurdist show to NerdMelt for a rollicking fun holiday-themed time. With special guests Dana Gould, Dan Cronin (another CONANwriter/performer), Brandon Wardell, Ed Salazar and singer Rebecca Schiffman! Produced by Adam Spiegelman.
