The Easiest Way to Learn the Tarot--EVER!!

I sat down with Beth today and we talked specifically about the things you MUST DO to get a high degree of accuracy and precision in a spread. These are some of the "advanced basics" from the new book Advanced Tarot Secrets which is being written now and should be available after the first of the year. This is all super-easy stuff but these techniques alone will double your abilities as a tarot reader--literally overnight (go ahead and try them for yourself and see). You be the judge. We covered blind spreads and the importance of having a good question (and why, and how...), how cards answer questions individually and how they work together to paint a larger picture. Knowing and applying this makes your readings more in-depth and wow's your clients, turning them into raving fans (of you!). New exercise here: grab a stack of index cards--they will be your best friend. Also don't forget the spread protagonist. We covered this in this episode. Beth is back :-) She and I sat down for about 40 minutes and I talked about the basics you absolutely must know before you cast any spread--things they don't teach you in tarot books, but what you learn as a pro. These "must know things" are easy to learn and implement but not exactly obvious when you are doing readings. In fact I see these things NOT DONE all of the time by amateur and professional readers. Larger spreads are great ways to get more details from a reading. Spreads organize the cards into clearly defined areas of life. This leaves the card meanings free to apply to the situation at hand (this is how the tarot is supposed to work). Beth and I sat down and went over this for about twenty minutes in detail, including the the how's and why's of doing it and getting results that amaze people. Then we added a few minor surprises at the end. I think you will enjoy this. It is low-key today but full of valuable information.

Simplifying simple spreads: Beth and I sat down today and covered the small spreads, ones we do for every day questions and as enhancements to larger spreads. We focused on the 1, 2, and 3 card spreads and how to get the most out of them in real -life circumstances. We also covered, in-depth, the "this or that" option spread that generally works so well, and along the way accidentally synced up and pulled the same two cards, in the same order, almost 2,000 miles apart. All in all a highly-educational show with real-life examples of people doing it. I hope you enjoy it. Next podcast on Friday.

A few times a week we will go over various cards and spread tips, or other aspects of reading professionally and **accurately**. There is no fluff here, no dogma, and no superstitious add-ons to the tarot. We focus only on what works. Each lesson will be around 20-30 minutes. Stacia is back with me for a while. Well I rant and Stacia gets a word in every once in a while. Patterns in spreads enhance the level of information in a reading but do not overpower the individual card meanings. We examine the various ways you will find cards interacting in noticable patterns and what they mean. I do rant about the Kickstarter program at dustywhite.net because there are over 15,000 of you (and hundreds more every week, thank you!) and we are changing history and need your help.
