One thing we've never actually done for #TheRocktober is watch The Rock wrestling. We watched a documentary about it, but this year we're actually watching a whole episode, specifically the 2019 debut of Friday Night Smackdown on Fox. Probably our favorite crazyballs franchise on this show is Fast & Furious. We've watched a bunch of them. And just because Hobbs & Shaw doesn't feature the whole families, it's still nice to spend a day with the cousins. The Rock and Jason Statham are punchy and quippy and care about their families, and while it isn't the best thing we've ever seen, it's not a bad couple of hours. The most rockerful time of year is upon us again, The Rocktober! And we're shooting it off with a real sad whimper. Look, The Rock mostly appears in low quality movies. But even for him, this one's a stinker.

Autumn has fallen upon us and that means one thing: The Rocktober! Okay, but before that it's time to go back to school. We watched the 80s one-liner fiesta starring Rodney Dangerfield. And no disrespect but it's not that funny. Like a lot of stuff from the 80s it's racist, homophobic, body-negative and of course really really sexist. Aloha! It's the official end of the #SummerOfFun. We ate lollies, caught a baseball game, hung out at the mall, and lots more. For our final episode of the summer, we talked to comedian and writer for Full Frontal w/ Samantha Bee, Mohanad Elshieky, about his recent trip to Hawaii. Earlier this year we did a whole episode about candy from our childhood. Inspired by that, our Australian fanbase Rhiannon offered to send us over 3kg of candy and snacks from the earth's nether regions. So we sat down with Jordan Casner (@jordancasner on all paltforms) on a Tuesday morning and consumed that candy. These are the results.

We caught one of our last remaining sunny days and used it for the violent childhood classic, the water balloon fight. Anthony and I embarked on a woodland balloon rumble, surrounded by his extended family. It was a blast! But that's not all! Ezra had a separate water balloon fight with his whole family, so we chat with him and his five-year-old son about their splashy adventure.

I was traveling for comedy in LA this week so I took the opportunity to fulfill another Meat Buddy request and go to a baseball game! Bri (@bripruett) and I recorded a live mini-episode while watching the New York Yankees taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers. I spent a lot of time in arcades as a kid, but I was never much for crises of time or the dancing revolutions. I loved the clanging physicality of pinball. But in a world with a million games to play, does it hold up?
