He also takes a look at ABOUT A SON, the documentary narrated by Kurt Cobain about Kurt Cobain. Weird. I make time for PARADISE LOST 3: PURGATORY and find the secret behind why some people actually like the FOOTLOOSE remake. Dead Anchoress) to talk about his passion for animation, how Movie Fan Central has changed his life, and even hangs around to discuss some of the bland Oscar nominations. After our guests depart, Moreno and I get deep into THE GRAY and end up loving it more than we thought. Moreno re-visits EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP and BOMB IT for his weekly 'Attack The Doc' column while I take in THESE AMAZING SHADOWS, another fantastic recommendation from Super Marcey. From there I check out WAR HORSE, THE DESCENDANTS, and A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR CHRISTMAS and we start to get serious with The 2012 TV Round-Up now that 'Justified is back. Moreno re-visits LAST MAN STANDING and raves about both parts of MESRINE. There a seriously depressing conversation about the end of Blockbuster Video and a glorious new Podcast Trailer sounder sent in by a fan. Tis' a long one, folks, you better grab two bottles of rum.

In honor of the film's 4 year anniversary, and the fact that we've talked about this film more than any other on the Podcast, it was about time for a CLOVERFIELD commentary. Johnny Moreno and I pick away through all the ruble and try to enlighten you with viral campaign tie-ins, amazing technical facts, little know tidbits, and ridiculously drunk observations no real human would care about. Our boss, Mike Sampson, stops by for a visit to the show so we can talk about his future, why replacing Paul Walker with Mark Wahlberg in the Fast & Furious films would cost the movie-going public zillions of dollars, why he likes 'American Horror Story' more than 'The Walking Dead', and the greatest party he's ever been to. Meanwhile, Law reviews CONTRABAND, THE IDES OF MARCH, and THE CHIPMUNKS: CHIPWRECKED (seriously) and Moreno gets his game on with SPECIAL WHEN LIT and a revisit to THE KING OF KONG. Bring a tissue, it gets a little emotional in this beyotch.

Jumping straight into the voicemail bag, Johnny Moreno and I get to the root of why THE 3 STOOGES looks like a disaster and what our biggest theatrical disappointments of all time are. Then we get to reviewing PEARL JAM TWENTY, CARNAGE, REAL STEEL, A LONELY PLACE TO DIE, and KILL LIST. Another CLOVERFIELD sighting leaves us fighting long after the outro music, Ron Perlman won't leave us alone, and starting 'Fringe' reminds us of the time I almost beat up Joshua Jackson for not being Ammon.

Johnny Moreno and I have rested our weary bones just in time to deliver our Best Of 2011 lists. Both of us break down our picks and shit on the other's. From there we sneak in a review of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, Moreno checks out one of Chris Bumbray's best of the year in SENNA and the CONAN remake, we finally get around to wrapping up the season finales of 'Homeland' and 'Dexter', and get into another fight with Ron Perlman's face. The great Chris Bumbray makes his annual year-end visit to the Podcast with gifts for all. He brings reviews for THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, WAR HORSE, TIN TIN, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL, and more. And then he whips out his Best Of list and runs down his top 10 (12? 14?) of the year.All that and Moreno and I still have time to hit the TV Round-Up, where Moreno reluctantly finishes 'Boardwalk Empire' with me and I unleash the greatness of 'Boss' on everybody's unsuspecting brains. We also squeeze in reviews for A GOOD OLD FASHIONED ORGY, BEER WARS, and WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN.

Law and Moreno have an epic, seemingly endless, conversation about the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. There's also reviews for THE DEBT, THE HELP, and PUNCTURE, and a look ahead to this week's New Releases. Moreno re-visits SUPER HIGH ME and gets a fantastic early Christmas present. From there we get mad at a bunch of stuff - dance-off scenes, the poster for NEW YEAR'S EVE, people that post on IMDB, Mike Sampson, and THE SITTER.

We start off the show by diving deep into the TV Round-Up, even bringing a couple new shows to the table (The League & Life's Too Short). We also laugh at all the people that got pepper-sprayed on Black Friday, review 50/50, OUR IDIOT BROTHER, ANOTHER EARTH, and catch up with one another on WARRIOR, THE DEVIL'S DOUBLE, and I SAW THE DEVIL. There's tons of ridiculous talk about Anna Kendrick's lips, Emily Browning's ass, and getting attacked by a gigantic sperm.

The Podcast pimps try to figure out why nothing is even close to the greatness of 'Sons of Anarchy' right now on television. Law reviews THE DEVIL'S DOUBLE, FOO FIGHTERS: BACK AND FORTH, and JFK: 3 SHOTS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD while Moreno revisits GRIZZLY MAN and THE WILD AND WONDERFUL WHITES OF WEST VIRGINIA for a few laughs. We also discuss 'Dave's Old Porn', excessive drinking, and why we don't want to talk about THE MUPPETS.
