A quick catch up for the start of the year. Happy New Year to you all! I'm trying out some new trail shoes today. Get the MP3 of this episode here
Here is a recording from earlier this year whilst I was out on a run on beautiful Sunday morning in June. Whilst running past a canal boat, someone asked: "are you Nigel?". Fame at last! Listen to this episode where I finally bump in to one of my listeners. Get the MP3 file here
Another catch-up on my Sunday run. Hear me talk about my Xmas list, elderly people shopping on Saturdays, why I don't buy Nike shoes any more and why modern TVs are rubbish. Of course, today is my fave day of the year, but I still end up being a bit grumpy...sorry. Get the episode here
Another quick check-in during my lunch break. I've had a note from the doctor, come up with an ingenious way to hang Xmas lights and have finished my Xmas shopping. Get the MP3 file here
It's hard to believe, but after a 6 month 'break' here is another audio offering form yours truly. Hear what I've been up to. Also hear me have a close encounter with some geese and almost fall head-first in to the canal. Get the MP3 recording here.
Another update from down by the canal. Hear about my amazing bird rescue, my weight loss disaster and some rambling introspection. A great cure for insomnia this one...don't listen whilst driving :) Make sure you check out the new podcast from our friend the Zen Runner: http://tinkoff.com/ It's excellent! Get the MP3 recording here.
Another audio update from down by a very sunny canal. In this update you can hear about my biggest loser efforts, a big upset at work and shrinking running shirts (or is it an expanding Nigel...?). Lots of sheep, ducks and geese and the usual nonsense down by the canal... Get the MP3 of the show here.
This is actually an episode I thought I had lost, but found the file whilst tinkering around with my recorder. I have no idea what's in it, but no doubt it'll be the usual nonsense. Get the audio of this episode here
After leaving my last podcast, er, I mean audio dairy entry, hanging on a cliff-edge given my brush with death following an insect bite, I thought it only fair to follow up with another report. In this episode I reveal the outcome of my life or death insect encounter, discuss chewing gum for sheep and reveal the grisly details of a headless creature I found in my kitchen. Nail-biting stuff, I'm sure you'll agree! Get the MP3 of the episode here.
I dug out the recorder and took it on a run this morning just to give you all an update. Just a few updates about my smoothie maker, a sheep rescue and a biggest loser contest. Hope your training and racing is going well. Nigel. Download the MP3 here.
Another quick catch-up during the Xmas holiday as I try to run off a few mince pies. Hear about not getting a camera for Xmas and a rather tight new hat. Thrilling stuff (if you're really, really bored...) Get the MP3 of the show here
Decided to grab the recording gear on my last run as a sub-50 year old. Just a quick amble down by the canal and an update on the pre-Xmas food-fest. Get the audio of the show here
It's my annual celebration of the Winter solstice during another plod down by the canal. The Xmas holiday is upper-most in my mind as I talk about presents, food, food & food... Merry Xmas, happy holidays and all that..! Nigel. Get the MP3 of the show here.
A deep and meaningful episode talking about life, death and vitamin D. I have a few problems with my interval timer, muse over being so boring, worry about farming moles, celebrate my PS4 success and luckily have no unwelcome sheep friends this week. It doesn't get much more exciting than this (unless you have a wall of paint you'd like to watch drying...) Get the MP3 of this episode here
Something of a nail-biting adventure in this episode as I man-fully try to herd some sheep that have found their way on the tow path back to safety. There are a few mild expletives as I fail miserably in my task, together with the usual inane chat about various aspects of my rock and roll lifestyle... Get the MP3 of the show here
