We had lunch Memorial Day with Travis and the family at their home near Cottonwood, just down the road from Chord Buddy headquarters. Travis grilled up his "famous" thin burgers and hot dogs too. Plus he reveals the secret recipe behind those burgers which came from his late father. Bradi and Goodson joined in the fun too.

This week Bradi had to take Gauge to a doctor's appointment so Goodson took her chair and helped his dad get the podcast done. Goodson is finished with school for the season so we talked a bit about golf and baseball. And Travis rounded out the discussion with plenty of food talk and Memorial Day weekend plans.

Goodson seems a little bummed out by his last golf game. And losing his gold chain didn't help. But Travis helped him find it. And could Travis be letting go of the Perry Store property and the old homestead in Covington County?

Chord Buddy's consultant, Scott Smith, is in town to check things out at Chord Buddy. and he spends some time with Travis talking the Chord Buddy brand and what makes it successful.

This week we talk about Thunder Beach on Panama City Beach at Ms. Newby's where thousands of bikes come in for the festival. Goodson is involved in Travel Ball and golf and Bradi just picked out a new set of golf clubs. She's also taking lessons so she can start playing with Travis.

This week Travis follows his son, Goodson, on his last school golf game and moves over to Travel Ball where they face a pretty good beatdown. How did that Chord Buddy 20% off sale go? And, is that Travis on stage in front of 97,000 in Fort Payne, Alabama?

This week Bradi goes fishing on a chilly Easter morning and catches a few. Old TV shows are discussed. Then we go back to Shark Tank days when Travis took the family to Disneyland in Anaheim. Travis and Goodson are now into travel ball season and Goodson and team mates won their first tournament! And what happens when you give a buyer too many choices?

Travis took the family on a Spring break trip to Charleston for some history, rest, relaxation and food! Bradi sacrificed and stayed behind to mind the store. There's a lot to cover in this podcast, including Japanese beef, Fort Sumter and rice. Rice?

Bradi, Cameron and Gauge went to the Ashford, Alabama Spring Fling event where the Stateline 5 band, featuring Travis, was playing. She also posted a review on Facebook of Big Mike's Restaurant with pics. Goodson had a rough week with a terrible golf game and he took a baseball to the eye while fielding a grounder. And the family is going to Charleston for a Spring Break getaway.

Imagine playing golf behind an 8-some and each has their own cart. Yeah, there's that, and there's plenty of food to talk about too. Baseball is back for Goodson, including his first game of the season. And Travis says he's fed up with the old homestead after a water disaster.

Travis found a new restaurant in Dothan. Goodson did really well in a golf match with some older high school guys. And it could be time to let the family home go.

This week Travis talks about the old days and waking up as kids to cartoons. A few classics were mentioned, like Road Runner, Bugs Bunny, Deputy Dog and more. Goodson finished 2nd in his first golf tournament of the year. And the we got into discussing Casey Casem who hosted the American Top 40 countdown.

Food talk? You bet! And according to Travis, it's possibly the best chicken dish he's ever tried. Bradi's is on a new workout and diet routine. And with a few minutes remaining we even talked a little bit about Chord Buddy too.

There's big time excitement when Travis begins to discuss the new Weiner Warehouse on Brannon Stand Road in Dothan. Plus a trip to Firestone Wood Fired Grill as two of his meal time stops yesterday. And some changes might be ahead for Chord Buddy as we make a move to digital.
