First Corinthians (2013) show

First Corinthians (2013)Join Now to Follow

Paul's first letter to the church in Corinth is addressed to a church rife with sexual immorality, pagan worship and vestiges of Greek cultural influence. The letter combines extreme patience with firm correction as the Apostle pleads with the believers in Corinth to set aside the fleshly, sinful practices of their earlier lives and chart a new course as Christians. Along the way, Paul contends with various doctrines, heresies and church practices including the misuse of spiritual gifts, eternal rewards for believers, treatment of the physical body, rules for marriage and divorce, and numerous other hot topics - for both the church then and today. This course has been completely revised and updated from the original version.

Balaam's Ride show

Balaam's RideJoin Now to Follow

Balaam's Ride is a live, weekly call-in show hosted by John Martignoni of the Bible Christian Society. John discusses a number of topics on any given show, ranging from apologetics and evangelization to economics and politics to current events and more - all from a Catholic Christian perspective. One week John might discuss whether or not Billy Graham will be saved, the next week he could have an atheist on as a guest discussing God or no God, the next an anti-Catholic Baptist minister talking about Mary or maybe a politician talking about pro-life legislation and who knows what else. The program also features a number of recurring spots, such as: The Bible Theme Song, The Orson Welles War of the Worlds News Bulletin, various celebrity cameos, and more. This show is designed to be a bit bolder than most programs you might find on Catholic radio. You can listen live every Wednesday morning from 11:00 - 12:00 Central (1600 - 1700 GMT) on: www.queenofheavenradio.com.

John's second letter is a mere 13 verses. Don't let that fool you. It offer seven points of spiritual wisdom every Christian should understand. His third letter is only 15 verses, but unites two essential themes: the importance of supporting what is good while correctly what is wrong in the church. Each study is a single lesson of teaching, so why not download and listen to each? You won't find a more compact study of spiritual truth anywhere.
