Five Minute Pearls For Clinical Practice (formerly Five Minute DocCast) is the podcast taught by Dr. Brian Morris that reviews the tools necessary to provide exceptional care for patients. The podcast was named New & Noteworthy by iTunes and consistently ranks in the top 10 medical podcasts on iTunes. Each episode is about five minutes and covers time-tested, evidence-based patient care strategies that aren't always taught in schools or training programs but are nonetheless crucial for success in clinical practice. Dr. Morris has been practicing internal medicine for more than 20 years. He graduated from Johns Hopkins Medical School, trained at Yale, and previously held a teaching position at Harvard Medical School. He currently practices medicine and holds a teaching appointment at UCLA Medical School in Los Angeles.
