Playboy Returns to the iPod with Bodcasts

Playboy launches the Bodcast.

The “Playboy Bodcast” feature on Playboy.com will be updated every weekday and will be drawn from the following online video features:

– Joke of the Day — no one delivers a joke better than a Playboy model
– Ask Hef Anything — wit and wisdom from Mr. Playboy
– From the Mouths of Babes — video advice from Playboy’s sexy CyberGirls

Playboy’s previous iBod service - downloaded photos to your iPod had been discontinued.

Creative is launching a new video player. The announcement has already been released in Japan and speculation is that it will be announced to the rest of us tomorrow.

It has a 2.5-inch screen and a 30GB hard drive.

TypePad now supports videocasting

TypePad has added video cast support to its blogging software. They have partnered with Serious Magic to offer a free special edition of Vlog It video casting software for TypePad users. This version will allow users to create and post a video to their blog, as well as provide free video hosting for non-commercial use.

TypePad has also partnered with VideoEgg to offer the VideoEgg Publisher to TypePad users. The VideoEgg Publisher is a website plug-in that hleps users to capture, edit encode and post digital video online through weblogs. Publisher allows users to publish videos that anyone can watch without worrying about player compatibilities, encoding settings or extra software.

Under the terms of its deal with Six apart, a preview version of the VideoEgg Publisher is now available to all registered TypePad users free of charge. TypePad users simply go to http://typepad.videoegg.com, log into their TypePad accounts, and then create and post their vlog entries using VideoEgg Publisher. Video postings are hosted without charge.

NBC to Bring Law & Order to iTunes Music Store

Apple has cut a deal with NBC Universal to add 11 television shows to its online iTunes Music Store

Apple’s online iTunes Music Store will get 11 TV shows from NBC Universal. They are “Law & Order,” “The Office,” “Surface,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Monk,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” “Dragnet,” “Adam-12″ and “Knight Rider.”
